Josipa Kafadar won the silver medal at the 2018 World Taekwondo Championships held in Tunisia in April. After 5 matches from some of the best fighters in the world Josipa faced the defending world champion form Vietnam in the final. After a tense match Josipa just fell short after losing by just one point. Sofie Nicholson and Stan Miller also both fought in the event. Sofie had a tough draw against the Youth Olympic Qualifier Champion in the first round. She fought hard all the way to the end and in the final moments of the third round tied the score and took the Champion to an overtime round. Unfortunately the Mexican Champion score the first point. Stan fought against Denmark in his match and just fell short with a 6-3 loss.
